ABSTRACT
Mentorship is a professional relationship in which a more experience and knowledgeable help to guide the less experience person in developing specific skills and knowledge that will enhance the less-experienced person’s professional and personal growth. Hence, to solve these problems, the meeting time can be done through the application that allow mentor to keeps update and monitor their mentee progress. Next, for the channels used by the faculty to distribute information is to provide a specific platform to receive an alert on the new update. The objectives of the study are to study the problem on the Mentoring Program faced by Faculty of Informatics and computing in UniSZA. Secondly, to design an application that has an interactive user interface which easy for the user to understand and used. Lastly, to develop an application that can provide a platform for mentor to monitor mentee activities. This application will be developed using mobile computing software call Cordova and using the combination of PHP, HTML, JSON and MySQL. By the end of this project, it is expected that the developed application can help mentor to monitor their mentee activity effectively.
PROJECT BACKGROUND

The mentor maybe older or younger than the person being mentored. The mentor must be the person that has expertise in a certain area of study. Most of University in Malaysia perform the Mentorship program. The mentorship programs in each university are different and have their own concept and target to achieve according to the university needs.
Same goes with University Sultan Zainal Abidin. There is a mentorship program implement in each faculty in the university. For example, in faculty of informatics and computing, each mentor will be set at random for minimum ten mentee and the mentee will be the same till the end of the current semester. Currently, the mentorship program in faculty of informatics and computing Unisza is held for the process of student registration course. The mentee has to get an approval from his mentor before they can confirm
their selected subject on the current semester. Besides, the mentee has to be alert on the important date updates for the course registration week. Otherwise, a fine will be charged for any late registration of courses.
Mentor and Mentee monitoring application is develop as an application that can help mentor to monitor his mentee activity and progress in academic and curricular. SYSTEM FRAMEWORK
Generally, user will register and login to the mentor and mentee monitoring application to start using the application. Admin will manage user and update news. Mentor can monitor Mentee progress. Mentee will select their mentor, update their profile and their academic progress.
